OMG IM SO SAD TODAY.

I priced ALL my ghost sweets @ 1mil at first (i had 117 of them)
thinking that no one will buy them since they're sort of useless.
AND THEN when it reached 75 i changed the price to 2mil
because i'm quite afraid that i'll have none left.
AND THEN WHEN I CAME BACK ALL OF THEM ARE SOLD... and im so fucking sad.

My relatives say I'm getting reaaaally fat.
Yup, time to do something for myself.

(Wednesday, 18 April 2012 / 9:14 pm)

Nothing hurts like the words we don't say.

Okay so previouslyyyy hyotai asked me.
What's Poly life like?
What makes it so different from secondary school?
(not that she's not going poly la, but she skipped orientation OOPS.)
bad girl :x

okay ANYWAY my first reply to her was.
"Nothing much, everything's pretty the same."
But upon insists that i point out the differences,
the more i told her, the more i see the change in.

1. Money put into school work are not into textbooks, like how we spend hundreds each year on textbooks, workbooks, exercise books, stationary etc.
Instead, the money is used on notes, which easily cost $5++. Also, i expect money to go into printing of papers. Although it's not happening....... yet. (there's a reason why they say, "your ez-link can also pay for printing papers in the printing station."

2. Unlike primary/secondary school, we are free to dress as what we like. No teachers babbling about hairstyles... Some even wear slippers to school. But the school treats us like adults, we don't need to be pushed to wear uniforms, tidy up your hair etc. Because we're adults, we're responsible for our dressing, there's no need for uniforms, :) Damn, i wish the principal would say that the my secondary school!

3. Lunch break is a big difference. Instead of secondary school's stupid 30/45mins breaks, lunch here is mostly afew hours. Big change, eh? At least we don't need to rush like mad chicken anymore when we notice that we're a little overtime. At least Poly understands that during recess, we need to get our asses to the canteen, find a seat, QUEUE UP, start eating, put back the plates, toiletbreak. I still wonder why does primary/secondary school thinks that alot can be done in half an hour? -_- seriously forcing some students to gobble down food. And yet still preaching about healthy lifestyle. Tsk.

4. You can finally use your handphone/laptops & whatever electronics in the open. Without hiding your phone below your table and check constantly if the teacher is looking or not. Because in Poly, hahahahaha they give no shit because U DONT LISTEN THATS YOUR PROBLEM BECOS NO ONE IS GUNNA HELP YOU AND UR GPA IS GONNA GO DOWN DOWN DOWN DOWN DOWN

5. A personal change i see in my life (probably doesn't apply to many people) is that.. yay. No more large amount of foreigners. I mean of course there is, but not as bad as the number of foreigners in my secondary school. And in my dictionary, PR are still foreigners because they never belonged here. They never do. They should take pride in their country and be loyal, and not run here and be some 2nd citizen. When they could be 1st citizen in their own country. I never liked them. Except some of them. Okay, i like the nice foreigners. The shitty ones can GND.

Well that's all that're the big matters i guess.
Well for me.. it's long walking here and there.

In secondary school i would take just 3mins to reach school.
Now, in Bishan, i have to......
1. waaaaaaaalk to the mrt. which i wouldn't say is near. it's rather far.....
2. from bishan mrt walk allll the way to circle line. and after that at buona vista, from circle line go up allllllll the way to green line.
3. reaching dover, i have to walk alllllll the way to SMA which is at the end of the school, furthest area away from the mrt. :@

Maybe i should have taken bus concession.
But oh god, i saw the opposite bus stop.
You have to walk a U shape to get back to SMA. oh god why.

Finished the hunger games in a day!

Now, it's catching fire.

GRRR

(Friday, 13 April 2012 / 11:43 pm)

Friday the 13th. I didnt realise ;)

(Thursday, 12 April 2012 / 4:46 pm)

if you treat her like any other person in the world, how will she know that she's special to you? how will she know she's different than them?

3rd day of school.
okay, not really third day, but more like.. ok idk.
It's SP flag day anyway.
It's the school's tradition to hold a Flag day for freshmens
to raise funds for the less fortunate.
Last year was for the unfortunate people around the world,
e.g. Japan earthquake,
this wear is for.. President's Challenge? And mercy relief.
Honestly idk what are those, well, so far I just sprouted rubbish when people asked.
Owell, it's over, yay. :D

As I was collecting donations,
(or rather waiting for my tin can to be filled),
I noticed some stuff.
p.s. I do not go around asking for donations,
I just stood there like a statue and wait for my can to be filled.
Only when an offering is made I'd start to come to life again,
"Thank you! You are very kind. Have a sticker! And have a nice day."
I'm like a 'record' and 'play' player, haha.

Things I noticed are:

This is sad.
Because locals are always considering themselves "generous".
But from what I experienced this is definitely not the case.

Me standing in a corridor,
When most people see me standing there they'd walk further away from me,
As if I am a contagious virus-infected patient.
There is so much space in the lane, but they choose to walk at the maximum distance away from me.
For what? So that I wouldn't go to them and ask for donations?
Pfft. "generous" my ass.
It's just a name which they give to themselves to make themselve feel good.

And ok, maybe some ARE generous.
Because they raised up S$250k to some thai girl who fell off the train?
Even though it's her fault for standing so close to the tracks?
How about the people who hold no faults for their misfortune?
Like people losing their limbs in an earthquake?
The people who lost their homes to tsunami? Hurricanes?
etccccccc.

I would also like to point out that..
I bet that if their big name is going to be stated somewhere
that they donated big money..
They would sure donate a big sum.
But because donating to a tin can is anonymous and your goodwill will not be noticed,
no one would really bother to donate.. because they get nothing back in return.
Unlike if their names were to be posted.. they get fame(?).

Another thing I would like to point out is that guys are reaaaally more generous than girls.
And no, I'm not saying that cause im a girl and of course guys would put coins into my can.
Because according to my other male classmates, most of the people who donate are guys too.
We never had a young lady who put money into the tin can..
For me, 2 young students (maybe slightly younger than me) from secondary school donated!
I'm so touched, hehe.
faith in humanity, restored! *~*

Also I'd add in something most important:
One thing that disgusted me the most is;
A young lady dressed with branded clothing,
branded Gucci bag,
Branded High heels,
expensive jewellery,
styled hair,
beautiful make up,
would totally ignore when she sees us students holding a tin can.
Not even a slight eye-contact when she walks pass.
Yes she definitely saw us (she's like infront of us PLS).
So rich, so wealthy, and yet she could not even spare some change in her wallet for the needy.
It's so sad.
Because I believe that most of the donators are not as wealthy as her.
But yet, they could still spare that few cents for donations.
;(

So the rich are rich because they are stingy.
And the poor are poor because they have a kind heart.
hmmmmmmm...

I bet that if the donations has a "every donation you make, we'd take a photo of you and post it in our website!" system,
the tin can will be filled in no time.
haha, because stickers are too worthless, i think!

But it was never about the stickers or the fame.
It's whether you have ever thought about others.

Realising this I have learnt whatever you do in public,
you will be judged. For example, im judging those who never donated.
HAHA JK.
..
.
.
.
.
..
Realising this I have learnt that every small things you do,
No matter how worthless or little it seems,
It will change someone's life.
As all the little things add up together,..

SP got 220k donations last year..
i don't think this year's donations will be as good.

Ohwell, byeeee.

(Monday, 9 April 2012 / 10:53 pm)

Feeling sorry for myself.

From now on, every single day...

i have to deal with this:

okay, abit suagu of me,
but it's my first time taking MRT early in the morning @ bishan.

haaaaaaiz.............

btw i realised i forgot to blog about my new house. LOL.
I mean, i did, but it didnt get published.. it's in draft.
you can scroll down to 4/2/2012 to see it LOLZZZZZZ.

BTW AS I WAS SAYING..

Today is my first day of school,
Everything was..... a little below okay.
Bishan MRT is so far,
when i got into the train and to dover i was sweating like a mad dog.
i dont like being sticky and sweaty, y'know.
feels uncomfortable and pulls my mood down.

Anyway i met up with my one and only friend in DMB,
we walked round and round and round..
a lil' awkward but later on we got used to it alr. hehe.

So we received our freshman package:
adiddas shoebag - inside consisting of a adiddas waterbottle,
stationery (highlighter, pen & mec. pencil), SP writing pad and a file.

Ok so we went into the theater, We we had this talk..
blablabla, blablabla, blablabla,
performances, it was cool!
it was some instrument... idk like those tribal music I LIKE.
and then vocals, but.. i don't appreciate vocals.
~_~ but i still clapped la.

OK SO later on we had our break, :(
after break we dunno where to go omg we're like lost sheeps :(

which we later on walked round and round and round and round and round.
then we got ourselves back to where we're supposed to be at!
they never even say properly lor! :(

Okay soo we got talks again..
About SP flag day, CCAs, president's challenge (or something liddat)..
After that got divided into our class,
and then... haha.

Later on went to walk around the school,
went to our potential-classroom (next semester).
It is like a port, a real port!
where you can see alot of ships..
I forgot what is that place called, lol.
But it wasn't too bad, wasn't too far either.
though we took shuttle bus. keke.
but next time must go there ourselves.....
(no wonder my sis says SMA always look deserted)

Anyway so far....
i only managed to make.. a handful of friends?
only 1 is enough to be "fairly close" already though....
............ .:FOREVERALONE:.

(Sunday, 8 April 2012 / 11:01 am)

Just in case you forget, beauty has so much more to do than what you see in the mirror.

Yesterday natnat was walking from i12 to Payalebar MRT,
(i decided not to be lazy and save some shit $$)
and as passing by the long stretch of shophouses,
natnat's corner of her eye caught something,
something that forced natnat to turn her head and glance,
which turned into a look, a peer and then a stare.....

The shop name: Choco Lato.
The mouth-watering gelato in gorgeous swirls caught my heart,
I knew I must give it a try.
With the reasonable and affordable price of $2.80 for a flavour,
$3.80 for two.

And the shopkeeper was extremely nice and friendly,
not forgetting to say polite.
I was just inside checking out the flavours (not intending to buy yet).
and there was another customer.. she has also very friendly to her.
After serving the customer she turned to me and said,
"Thank you very much for waiting, would you like to have some ice-cream?"
in a slow pace, not in a fast pace like most shopkeepers as if they're impatient.
This made me HAVE to buy,
natnat cannot resist super good service and affordable pricing with great tasting ice-cream!

So I choose Vanilla and Chocolate chip (which is actually chocolate),
And she kindly asked if we're sharing.
Then, she offered to give us a bigger share! since we're sharing.
Omg, she's like so nice! ♥
Of course natnat wanted to refuse her offer but.... SHE ALSO DUWAN LIE TO HER HEART THAT SHE WANT BIGGER SERVING so i just said thank youuuu LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

Unfortunately natnat took no pics of her delicious ice-cream because she was busy gobbling up...... owell.

Will definitely go back there, yes the lady said to go back there!
most likely will go back there, the next time i go back to katong...
which is probably not so soon as school is starting on monday... T^T

Ciaozssssssssss

(Thursday, 5 April 2012 / 9:42 pm)

saying something and wishing you had not, or saying nothing, and wishing you had?

Lolzzzzz whazzzz wronzzzz wizzzzz peepozzzzzz.

On photos people put contact lenses.
People would comment: "Nice eyes...♥"
But what it actually should be is..: "Nice contact lenses...♥"

People put make up..
People would comment: "So pretty! ♥"
But what it actually should be is..: "Nice face with make up! ♥"

What i actually admire about other girls (yes, i do admire girls) is..
Those who can be themselves, natural self,
Lets say those who don't put on make up/contact lens and still post their pic on fb.
It may not be as attractive but that is the real you.
They who are not afraid to show their true self, who they really is.
I like those.

I'm not saying it's bad to put make up.
Not saying that i think those who put make up are vain, fake people etc.
But personally i feel that make ups are done to present themselves,
for a special occasion: e.g. weddings, school/work presentation, parties, dates etc.
But not for the 'normal' days e.g. going shopping, school, outings etc.

I feel this way cause, ..
the normal days (shopping etc) is not "grouped together" with more special occasions,
like weddings, dates etc.
Because if you do make up on normal days and also the special days,
People would see you as the 'usual-looking' you.
While if you put make up on only special days,
it would appear more like you have put in effort to dress up on special days,
because the day is a special day to you and you put to appear your best on it.
So people would feel more touched i guess..
It's like, "Wow, she prettied herself just for this day!".. You see what i'm trying to say?

So far I've never applied any make up on (except when im young, like in kindergarden for performances etc) and weddings..
Because HEHEHE I LOVE MY SKIN I DUWAN MY SKIN TO BECOME UGLY ALSO.

ANYWAY
here's a meaningful video to you:

The word love:
