CNY 2013; home cooked food.

Because during CNY,
Most of the restaurants outside are closed,
So we have no choice but to cook meals for ourselves during the first 3 days.
Which isn't bad.

Photos below;
May look absolutely normal for you,
Your everyday-meal you enjoy at home.
But to me, they're special.
Worth so much more than eating at a 5-star restaurant in a fancy hotel.
So much enjoyable than having a fine dining experience outside.

Because its not very often I get to eat home cooked food.
Intact, I dare say this is the first real home cooked food in my entire life;

(Eating together with everyone in my guardian's place does not count).

Food that is personally made by the hands of my family members,
Prepared without any recipe but by following the natural instincts,
Served properly on a plate and put on the table.

With just the 4 of us siting together at the dining table.
The 4 of us, papa, mama, jiejie, me.
The 4 of us having our meals together.

Unlike in the past,
Where everyone just ate in their own room,
Do their own stuff, watched their on TV, played their own games.

To you it is your everyday-experience,
To be able to eat with your family.
But this is something very special to me.

Therefore I present;

First day 初一

Breakfast: French toast, Grilled sausages

Lunch: Arrabiata Spaghetti with meatballs, carrots and prawns.

Dinner: Curry chicken and soup with wanton, fishballs and prawns.

2nd day 初二


Breakfast: French toast, Nuggets and white bread with last night's leftover curry.

Lunch: Carbonara Spaghetti with slices of salmon, broccoli and crab meat.

Dinner: Grilled teriyaki salmon and Tomyum soup.

3rd day 初三

Breakfast: french toast ..

Lunch: Instant noodles LOOOOOOL with alot 料

Dinner: Ramenplay! hahahaha

I think not bad la!

It was pretty fun cooking!

Next, i want to learn how to bake!!!!

Not bad ley. Curry contains beef but I kinda like beef and it's quite spicy too!
So i kinda really like this curry... :D

The salad that came with my curry set.
Just needa add $1 for this!! Kinda worth it?
The potato scoop is huge too...!

Soba~ Nothing special.

Random post.

Every Thursday ya~

My lecturer likes to let us off early~ wahahaha.

Also good la.
I in class also never really listen.. :(

Went to eat Fish&Co. with classmates~!
The usual ones I hang around with..

Don't know why the potato like bigger serving than the main dish -- Salmon LOL

Just needa top up $2 if you want to change this miserable mushroom salad to soup~

Iced Tea. Tastes kinda nice!

'Premium' ice-cream~ Wanted triple choco but my coursemate ah...!!! he...! ....!

After that blablablablabla.

We like talking about other people alot..

So we went to find a place to sit down and chatter~

In the end come Blackball~

LOL kinda of our first time here.
Abit suagu. don't know how to buy LOL.

Cause like alot things we dunno what are those LOL.
Also like don't dare don't dare anyhow pick too.

So there's this free-and-easy choice.. so yea.
I chose.. my Nata De Coco~
my favourite!
Tastes the best too!
And there's sweet potato in there, grass jelly, yam, lalalala..
They'll also give you a small packet of milk too.
like y'know, something like the packet of milk Mos Burger gives to people who buy milk tea.
Hahaha but I'd advise don't add tooooooo much!

Will drain the taste of the sweetiessssssss.

Sorry for not posting for so long!
Because I've been *kinda* busy lately!

I've done well for Term 1 this sem ^^
so I'm gonna do better this term!
to maintain my As!

ANYWAY I don't really feel sorry for not posting la since no one reads it anyway.

Dozo -- Fine modern Japanesque.

Went to Dozo~ @ Valley Point.

The restaurant is kiiiiinda similar to "Tao's restaurant" but this is more.. expensive? XD
Like 2X the price!!

But the food is really nice luh, and the atmosphere, furnishing and all really so nice :)
It's Japanese, French and European cuisine.
